Ingredients
- 2 slices of arnold Oatnut bread, toasted
- 2 ounces oven-roasted turkey
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4–6 basil leaves
- Garlic basil aioli (recipe follows)
- Garlic Basil Aioli:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Special Tools:
- Panini maker
Instructions
- Make the aioli. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper and garlic in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Spread aioli on each slice of bread.
- Top 1 slice with turkey, tomato and fresh basil.
- Cap with remaining bread slice, aioli side down.
- Cook sandwich in panini press until golden brown (approximately 3 minutes).
